Electricity Maps presents map visualizations that show the carbon-intensity of electricity production and consumption worldwide. Our mission is to drive tangible reductions in carbon emissions through accessible and transparent insights.

The data can be accessed historically, in real-time, or as a forecast for the next 24 hours through our API - used by companies like Google, Microsoft, Schneider Electric and E.ON.

My role
In close cooperation with stakeholders at Electricity Maps, I have been leading the redesign of the company website all the way from the sketching and prototyping phase to implementing the interface pixel by pixel in Webflow.

Using Webflow's seamleass CMS, the website is set up so that all team members - even without a technical background - can update the website, make edits, write blog posts, and add new cases with ease.
